Blueberry Pecan Oatmeal

Ingredients:
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon local honey (can be substituted with sugar or sweetener of choice)
- 1 tablespoon unsweet cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- A handful MNPG Pecan Halves
- A handful semi-sweet chocolate squares
- A handful fresh blueberries (can be substituted with any other fresh fruit)
- Optional toppings: Dried cranberries
*Yield: 1 serving
Directions:
- Place rolled oats, cocoa powder, cinnamon and vanilla in a microwave safe bowl and stir together until the oats are fully coated with the spices.
- Add water, milk and honey (or sugar) to the oats and stir until combined.
- Microwave for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let the oatmeal sit at room temp while preparing the toppings.
- Enjoy with pecans, fresh blueberries and chocolate squares.
