Pecan Pie Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup corn syrup
  • 1/8 cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup MNPG Pecan Pieces

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Prepare brownie batter according to the package directions.
  • Pour brownie batter into a greased 9”x13” baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • While brownies are baking, combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter and vanilla in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Stir in pecan pieces.
  • Remove brownies from the oven and pour pecan pie filling over the top and spread evenly.
  • Place brownies back in the oven and bake for 20-30 more minutes or until filling is set in the middle.
  • Remove from the oven. Allow brownies to cool at room temperature before cutting. Enjoy!
